Barry’s Carpentry & Building Service is owned and operated by Barry Simon. Barry is a Qualified Carpenter in Melbourne and a Registered Builder DB-U 28739.

We are a small business that concentrates on providing personalized attention to your project. Beginning his apprenticeship in 1974, Barry, like all apprentice carpenters had 4 years to learn new skills and an eye for detail. On completion of his Carpentry & Joinery apprenticeship Barry then went out on his own to become a qualified carpenter in Melbourne. 

As a self employed carpenter in Melbourne at the ripe old age of 21, he employed two carpenters, one an apprentice and a carpenter and went about working for builders building new homes and then branching out doing extensions and renovations.

All these experiences presented  many challengers which then led Barry to become a Registered Builder in his own right. With 25 years experience in the building trade, rest assured that Barry is one of the best carpenters in Melbourne and has the knowledge to look after your project - big or small.
